Well, blogging has obviously not been high on the priority list for the four months or so... so, here is my feeble attempt to catch up all the summer events. (Thanks to Jennifer for this strategy!).
- Fitting that my last post was about the half-marathon... because the day after the marathon, I found out I'm pregnant! That's my excuse!
- Also, in April, Jack turned 2. Gpa and Gma came through for a quick visit the weekend before his birthday and on the day of we, the three of us went to the park for some McDs dinner, playground, and presents. The lawn mower was the biggest hit (and still is), and Jack LOVES his movies, especially Thomas the Train.

- I've become very involved in Beta Sigma Phi (my sorority) and we had a busy couple of months... We had Founder's Day with two other local chapters in April, my sister Becky and I went to our first state convention in May (not one picture to show for it), and we put on our largest - and coolest - event to date, our Beef & Beer, in June. We've been busy!!
Founder's Day with the majority of our chapter representing:

Beef & Beer - didn't get many pictures, but envision 30-ish ladies shakin' it most of the night while the men drank beer and talked about NASCAR :) It was a grand success and a GREAT time!

- Also, in May Andy - one of my best friends from way back and Jackson's Godfather - came for a weekend visit. It's always good to see him and I really enjoy seeing him interact with Jack... Andy is a great Godfather (especially for our very secular approach to the job!).
We played outside with bubbles and went to the Discovery Center... other than that, we just enjoyed each other's company. It was a very relaxing and fun weekend.

It just so happened that Jon's BFF, DJ, was in town that weekend, too - driving from New Mexico to someplace relatively close to us for work... it had been a long time and it was good to catch up with DJ, too!

- Of course, between visitors and events, we did a bunch of normal fun stuff, too. Highlights include washing the car, trips to the playground (which Jack AND Daddy absolutely love), and the introduction of Chez Jack to our house.

This one, my sweetheart of a sorority sister, Rebecca, printed out and framed for me... :)

That gets us up through about the 4th of July... more to come, I promise.
