There's something liberating about not pretending. Dare to embarrass yourself. Risk.

April went by very quickly and the highlight was definitely Jackson's birthday and our awesome weekend away in Williamsburg.

Other than that... it was a very slow month except for

- Gamma Chi's social for the month was at Tea on the Tiber, which is a beautiful little place that puts on formal English-style teas. It's in historic Ellicot City in a house that's probably 300 years old. They served the most amazing scones, sandwiches, fruit, cheese, and sweets... and, of course TEA. It was fancy and fun.

- We've had big changes at work ... one of the three Executive Assistants in the front office left this month, and I was approached about transferring to Nashville (though, that's not common knowledge yet).  All good, positive changes, but change is change and is an adjustment.

- It's FINALLY warm enough to go to the park - we've had a very cool Spring.  And, the first time we made it to the Adventure Park, we ran into half a dozen people we know... the best surprise being Jackson's best friend from Little People, Jordyn.  The kids played great together and we met up the following weekend t play again :)

Like I said, a very slow month... so, plenty of room to show off the kids' art!
