There's something liberating about not pretending. Dare to embarrass yourself. Risk.

April was full of events and went really fast...

Jackson, of course, turned 3.We had a great, albeit short, visit from Uncle Toby. I took my first trip for work since Mary Grace has been born, which fell during the week of Jackson's birthday - talk about guilt... it was somewhat of a whirlwind month.

Here's some of the best pictures we caught in April:

I think Jackson really enjoyed Uncle Toby's visit. He got here the morning of Jackson's party and I think surprised Jackson... Jack was timid at first, but then like magic he remembered Toby's pictures in our "hall of fame" going up the stairwell. He grabbed Toby to show him his picture in the hallway, lol... and, that's all Jackson needed to know Toby was 'in.'

Toby was a great help at Jack's party and - as always - made a great impression with our peeps in Tennessee (not like that would matter, lol, he has seniority! but, nice nonetheless). And, he brought Jackson his first remote-controlled toy, a tractor, that Jack loves.

Here are some pictures of Jack and Toby playing t-ball in our back yard.

Little miss turned 4-months on April 24. She had her 4-month check-up on the 28th. She weighted 13 lbs 2 oz and was 24 and 1/2 inches long. She's healthy and happy as anything!

These pictures were taken on her 4-month birthday:

And, these were taken just because.

Happy girl!
