Just shy of Mary Grace's 6-month birthday, we took the plunge and introduced new foods. She had been enjoying her cereal, so it made sense to get her going on fruits and veggies.
Our first menu selection was squash!
Here she is checking out the strange, orange gloopy food we were getting ready to feed her. Honestly, it has to be better than the white, bland gloopy food she's been getting, right?

First bite!

Ready for more...

We started with squash, but quickly followed it up with carrots, peas, green beans, applesauce, pears, peaches, and everything else. We didn't do a good job of holding off to make sure she wasn't allergic, but thankfully, we haven't had any problems.
She seems to enjoy veggies more than fruit and still loves her cereal - oatmeal and mixed. She's eating cereal and a jar of food twice a day... and, on oinky days, an extra jar :)
