Our summer got off to a bit of a delayed start with Jackson's surgery and recovery... but, once it began, it began in full force.

Thanks to my good friends, we got invited to a couple of pools.

First, Christy - due to unfortunate circumstances - was staying in a hotel for a few days and invited us over to play in the pool. Then, my other girlfriend Carrie, invited and introduced us to the Smyrna public pool. A bunch of us came out for pool fun on a beautiful Saturday. We got some great pictures!

We had a great time at the pool... perfect for an hour or two, then grab some lunch and come home for a nap! We did discover, though, that Jackson is petrified of the water... he'll play where he can touch, but doesn't even like for us to hold him in deep water. Mary Grace cried most of the time, but we're cutting her some slack since this was her first water experience outside the baby bath :)

Both of them are going to get some more exposure this summer!
