There's something liberating about not pretending. Dare to embarrass yourself. Risk.

Christmas was awesome at the Goddard house and Santa was way too good to us... seriously, how does the big guy stay within budget??

We were lucky enough to have Jon's Mom and Jean join us for the holiday, which made it even better... It was nice having the company and we had some help eating Jon's giant Christmas ham dinner :)

Jackson especially enjoyed opening his - and Mary Grace's - and his Aunt Jamee's - presents... and he's had a blast enjoying all of his new, cool toys. Mary Grace is digging her new playthings, too. It's been an Imaginext and Little People Christmas!!

Our tree Christmas morning... it's obscene!

Jackson getting a kick out of his whoopee cushion.

Jackson and MG checking out a new toy.

Jack trying on his new Bucs hat from Grammy and Grandpa Tim.

And, loving his new big boat from Gema and Gepa.

For being Mary Grace's first "real" Christmas, she wasn't quite interested in all the paper and boxes... she just kept going after the toys Jackson wanted to play with.

It really was a nice holiday... it was great having the long weekend where were could just be lazy. We played with our new toys, watched movies and football, played games - Farkle was a hit - and just enjoyed hanging out in our pjs. Couldn't beat it!
