There's something liberating about not pretending. Dare to embarrass yourself. Risk.

The end of Spring brought us another busy month. Travel for work and for fun, super heroes officially taking over our world, some great girl time, and pony boppers. And, at the end of the month, Summer let us know she was ready to arrive... cause it's hot!

The best quote I was able to document this month was Jackson telling me as we came down the stairs one Sunday morning, "Momma, don't let Mary Grace bust her head." Ha!

Speaking of MG, she loves shoes and must being wearing a pair at all times.

Here are some of the best pictures from the month...

Jackson and Mary Grace Wolverine

Insert awesome super hero intro noise here.

Mary Grace's first pony boppers and pony tails. L.O.V.E!

Trying them out...

Then, for real... OMG, super cute!

And, Jackson being silly...

Hopefully, this one gives an indication he'll be into laundry?

And, these kids play SO well together... hanging out in Jack's pop-up igloo. (Note the shoes worn OVER her pjs.)

Mary Grace and Jackson made cool hand-print Mother's Day art for me :)

And, we ended the month chillin' at the Splash Pad! Great way to kick off summer.

I also made it out a couple times with my girls and had a blast. Our social this month was dinner at Omni Hut, which is a Polynesian themed restaurant in Smyrna. It was fun and interesting. They are BYOB, which was nice because nearly everyone in attendance brought a bottle of wine, lol. And, the food was wild... and, very tasty. We had two guests (shout out to Rachel and Sarah S.) join us... it was great to spend time with them and get to know them better... keeping my fingers crossed they'll come back and join us again :)

The girls also got together another night for dinner and our secret sister reveal. Carrie came out for the night, which was wonderful cause we miss her... and, the group of us just had a blast with great food, half-off wine, and each other. We were so rowdy, a family asked to move seats (hehe... love it).

My secret sister was Christy this time :) She knows me well and gave me cool socks and awesome note cards as my gift. My secret sister was Jen... I gave her a girls' night out frame for one of our group pics. Fun!!

I was also fortunate enough to attend Cinqo de Seago at Sarah and Jon's house. It was a great time with great food! Authentic carne asada, quacamole, and tres leches cupcakes.

AND, the coolest thing... one of my good friends and former co-worker from St. Pete, Edna, came to Nashville and I got to see her for a bit. It was great to see her and reconnect :)
