There's something liberating about not pretending. Dare to embarrass yourself. Risk.

Jackson's Christmas program is definitely one of the highlights of the year. Not only is it great to see him "perform," but the other kids are so cute and entertaining, too... His daycare just does a great job :)

This year, the teachers made costumes for the kiddos, so there was added anticipation! We didn't know what Jackson was going to dress as, but figured it would be adorable. And, we were not disappointed! Jackson's class came out as reindeer and sang two songs.

Jackson participated, but barely. As you can see, he was not thrilled during the performance and he is the only kid without a red Rudolph nose. He refused his make-up. Thank goodness Ms. Jessie was there to encourage him to get onstage!

We thought for sure he'd flip out if he saw us in the audience, but actually, once he was assured we hadn't left him there, he perked up.

After the performance, Jack came into the audience to hang out with his Auntie Jamee.

And, finally, a couple pictures of the three of us... Yes, I am super-pregnant.

Thanks to all the teachers at Tot's Landing River Rock for putting on a great show!!
