There's something liberating about not pretending. Dare to embarrass yourself. Risk.

- Drew Barrymore

Another busy month has come and gone...

This one was particularly busy. Beginning with Memorial Day weekend, we were out of town, I was out of town, we had Tom in town, we did the yard sale, we had Andy in town, and - well - that was the month. All good things, but BUSY!

We also had Father's Day thrown in there :) We didn't do a whole lot, but did make it to Red Lobster for a family sea food feast!

Mary Grace fell down the stairs this month, and it was the worst visual I've seen in a long time. Watching her turn head over heels was awful... I cried more than she did. Not that is stopping her from going up and down the stairs, of course.

The kiddos are having fun playing together... in fact, that's one of the reasons MG fell down the stairs. She was up there playing with her brother!

Here's a pic of them "playing"... Jackson's helping her - sure. More notably, this is normal garb for my children. Jackson in full costume and Mary Grace in her onsie on the outside. Jon started dressing her like this recently, I think primarily as a small form of revenge. I choose to think of it as her dance class look. No, she's not in a dance class, but that is beside the point!

Jackson is working hard on learning to write his name... here's one of his sheets :) It starts off with tracing and his solo attempt is (difficult to see) on the bottom.

Work is continuing to be stressful. My supervisor had been out of the office for six weeks on a detail in Washington, and we finally got her back this month. However, it was only a couple weeks before she announced to us that she was being reassigned and leaving the staff. This was the push I needed to start looking and I put in for two jobs at the end of the month... one in Nashville and one not. We shall see where the path leads.

Here are some of the best pictures from the month, to include the kids' Father's Day artwork :)

OMG, my absolute fav this month... They had these little house hats at Stones River Battlefield. Took complete restraint not to buy it!

Little Miss playing in the hamper.

At the drive-in!

And, MG as a super hero... a dance super hero, lol :)

And, lastly, the Father's Day presents:
