There's something liberating about not pretending. Dare to embarrass yourself. Risk.

Oh, how I love Fall... and, I'm working diligently to ensure the kiddos do, too!  This year, we had the good fortune to have a pumpkin farm kind of fall into our family ;)  Uncle Andy's girlfriend, Katie's family owns a farm and they put on a huge pumpkin event every year.

We had a blast at Papa John's Farm!

Of course there were pumpkins... we first walked through the pre-picked section, which was huge. They also have painted pumpkins - courtesy of Katie's mom - which were fun.  Here is Jackson in front of the Avengers pumpkins.  They also had Angry Birds, Yo Gabba Gabba, and others.

The farm also had animals to check out. We walked through the barn area and saw geese, chickens, a giant turkey, a donkey (my favorite), horses, pigs, cows, bunnies, and I think that's all. Mary Grace thought the donkey was a bit stinky.

After animals, we went on the hay ride to the pumpkin patch!

After we picked our pumpkins, I found some GORGEOUS mums, then raided the farmer's market.  Here are some other of the best pics from the day.

We followed up the pumpkin patch with some lunch... and, it was a just a fun day!  So glad to be able to do the pumpkin patch with Uncle Andy and Katie!
