There's something liberating about not pretending. Dare to embarrass yourself. Risk.

Uncle Toby is a life-long, die-hard Phillies fan... and, I'm pretty sure he's trying to convert my kids to his ways :)  Which, honestly, since baseball isn't our sport, we're not entirely against.  So, we agreed to go to the Nats/Phillies game months ago.

Little did we know that there was going to be some drama with Nats and Phillies fans.  Because last season, the Phillies fans were outnumbering Nats fans significantly, the team limited ticket sales to only those with local zip codes.  Didn't stop Uncle Toby, obviously.  But, the issue made the front page of Express.

Unfortunately, Mary Grace has AWESOME timing and got sick the day of the game... so, I got stuck on sick, little girl duty at home...

but, Jon and Jackson went to the game.

Jon reported back that Jackson seemed to enjoy it and the Nat's (relatively new stadium) is beautiful.  Jack likes baseball food, except for the soft pretzels...

Only picture we got of Jack and Uncle Toby... geesh, lol.  We need to get this kid a baseball baseball cap!

Thanks for the tickets, Uncle Toby!  I hope next time we'll all get to hang out with at the baseball field!  Jack is definitely at the age to make him a fan... and, maybe I can learn, too?
