My sorority had been talking for a while about how fun it would be for an overnight get-away and this past weekend, we finally made it happen! We rented a cabin in Cedars of Lebanon state park for the night and had a great time hanging out, chatting, eating, crafting, and enjoying each other.

There was a TV, but we never turned it on... Becky, Karla, and I drove together and got there right at check-in time, 2:30, and over the next couple of hours, every single one of our active members showed up... it was AWESOME.

For the most part, we just chatted and laughed, but our planners also had a craft planned. They had ordered pre-printed tote bags with Beta Sigma Phi on them and then we picked out fabric and ironed on our names or initals. It was a lot of fun and our bags look great. I especially love how they all match, but look so different!
Just a few pics of our night.

We stayed up late and got up early - for a great breakfast provided by Becky, Jen, and Carrie. Then we hung out until we had to check out at 10 a.m.

The cabin was pretty cool... it had an upstairs and downstairs with a full kitchen, two bedrooms, a loft with a 3rd bed, and a bathroom. When I walked in, it immediately reminded me of the halls on campus because of the furniture in the living area. But, then I saw the tiles in the bathroom!! If this doesn't give one a flashback to the Andros Halls at USF, nothing will!!
When we checked in, they gave Becky two keys with a warning that the doors tend to be tricky... and, wouldn't you know it as soon as we all arrived and Jen was getting ready to pose us for a group picture, the door closed behind us all and we got locked out. It was funny for a few minutes, but then we remembered it was freaking cold - probably 30-degrees? - and we found out the office had closed 15 minutes ago. Thankfully, Becky is a master con-artist who was able to open and crawl into a window, LOL. She is my hero!!
This picture was taken just as Carrie announced the door was locked.

And, a picture of the fire we needed once we got back in... it was cold!!

The girls who planned the event brought lasagne and salad for dinner and we had plenty of beverages and snacks :)
